Slow Cooker Congressional Bean Soup

1 lb. small white beans
8 cups water
2 cups ham, diced
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 each bay leaf

Assemble ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or
until beans are tender.
Makes 6 servings.
